Smart lamppost plays an important role as one of the IoT infrastructures in smart city. This innovation direction is fully supported by Government OGCIO under “Multi-functional Smart Lampposts” Pilot Scheme. Smart lampposts can be equipped with a 5G micro base station, weather station, wireless AP, camera, LED display, public help terminal, online speaker, charging pile, and other devices. Smart lamppost becomes the data-collecting sensors of smart city, and share with each responsible department, ultimately achieving more efficient and integrated city management. Smart2go Asia Limited will develop a central platform for all the management and operation, making the maintenance work easier and more efficient.

V2X, which stands for "vehicle to everything", is the umbrella term for the car's communication system, where information from sensors and other sources travels via high-bandwidth, low-latency, high-reliability links, paving the way to fully autonomous driving.

There are several components of V2X, including vehicle-to-vehicle (V2V), vehicle-to-infrastructure (V2I), vehicle-to-pedestrian (V2P), and vehicle-to-network (V2N) communications. In this multifaceted ecosystem, cars will talk to other cars, infrastructure such as traffic lights or parking spaces, smartphone-toting pedestrians, and data centers via cellular networks. Different use cases will have different sets of requirements, which the communications system must handle efficiently and cost-effectively. According to ASTRI " the C-V2X technology can be applied to real-time traffic monitoring, incident management, and route planning to improve traffic efficiency. In the long run, C-V2X can better cooperate with the development of autonomous driving technology, assist autonomous driving in detecting hidden dangers, and improve road safety".
